Betsie River Cabin provides a cozy getaway with a secluded wooded setting and easy access to many of Northern Michigan’s favorite attractions. It has been designed to provide a true “Up North” getaway for groups of up to 8 people. Each bedroom can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests with the convenience of separate bathrooms. The cabin is perfect for both family retreats and outdoor adventure seekers while providing modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and a smart TV. This all-season cabin features an outdoor hot tub, rustic wood interior, wood stove, washer and dryer, basement recreation room with a ping pong table, and ample parking.

During your stay, guests can admire the natural beauty of the Betsie River from the deck and hot tub or relax by the campfire. Launch a canoe from the backyard; enjoy prime trout, salmon, and steelhead fishing as part of your stay. A convenient fish cleaning station is provided for your use. Skiing (downhill and cross-country), golf, and mountain bike trails can be enjoyed at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa, located only minutes away.

Betsie River Cabin (formerly known as Nasha Hata) changed ownership in late 2017. This property has been a favorite for guests for many years, receiving numerous positive reviews, comments, and feedback. The current owners are excited to continue the legacy of providing guests with enjoyable and memorable stays.

Cottage Amenities: Radiant Heat with an independent thermostat under master bedroom tile floor.

Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, electrical stove, coffee maker, microwave, convection oven, silverware, toaster and cooking utensils.

A gas grill is provided.

A washer and clothes dryer are provided on the main floor.

Smart TV in the living room with basic DISH, DVD player, board games, and a choice of favorite movies.

A canoe is included with your cottage rental.

Wood is provided for the wood stove and outdoor fire pit free of charge.

Linens and paper products are furnished.

Fishing – Betsie River is prime for trout and salmon fishing. In this area the Betsie River is a DNR type 4 stream with trout open all year long.

Canoeing/kayaking – start at the cottage, end at a convenient downstream landing.

Biking – the 22 mile long Betsie Valley Trail offers fantastic riding, extending from Thompsonville to Frankfort.

Hunting & Morel mushrooming on state forests within a few minutes drive.

Snowmobiling – easy access to 300 miles of trails.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore – 30 minutes away.

Casino – Little River Casino in Manistee – 25 minutes away.

Great Stay - Warm & Cozy
This property was perfect. Great location to Crystal Mountain, amazing views, and great mornings cozied up to the fire and relaxing evening soaking the hot tub. This place was clean and nice. Definitely would recommend.We hope to stay here again someday.

Weekend getaway
This is the second time that my brother, sister in law, my wife and I have stayed at this cabin! We love that we have our own bedrooms and bathrooms! The house is cozy and just a great place to relax and enjoy each others company! We enjoy fishing and kayaking the Betsie River. We will be back in the future to our home away from home.

My family and I stayed at the Betsie River Cabin to go skiing at Crystal Mt for the weekend. Our stay was great! Everything about the cabin was as they described and we had a great time playing board games and enjoyed the hotbtub after skiing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Wonderful Spot
The cabin and location were amazing. The view of the river was incredible and the feet of being in the woods never left. Also being close to crystal mountain and Iron Fish were huge pluses.

We had a great time during our stay: the kids loved the pingpong and exploring the property. The kitchen had most everything we needed. We did some skiing at Crystal Mountain so the location of the cabin was perfect. The owners were responsive to any questions or issues we had. We'll definitely be back!

Close to Crystal and great location for some tranquility. Hot tub was relaxing after a day of skiing. Loved the river in the back and added to the relaxing atmosphere.

R&R with the in laws.
Nice cabin, not to far to any of the surrounding areas. Host were very responsive to all inquiries. We did some fishing and biking and toured Torch lake, Frankfort, Crystal lake to name a few. Enjoyed our stay and looking into another trip to the Bestie in the future.

Betsie Cabin Getaway
This is the 2nd year in a row that I’ve booked this property with my family and friends and every year we leave wanting to stay more! The hosts Mike and Lisa are great communicators and ensure you feel as if you’re home during your stay. We had a great time fishing the river and relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day of fishing. God willingly we will be back again next year!

The house and location was perfect for what we needed it for. We had young highschoolers with us that just wanted to go snowboarding all day and this was a perfect location for us that was not right on site at Crystal Mountain.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
This home was lovely for our weekend trip to the Crystal Mountain area. Close to several great restaurants and lots of outdoor activities. It was wonderful watching the sunrise over the rushing river through the large windows in the living room. The owners were very accommodating and easy to reach. Highly recommend!

What a great place!
We absolutely loved our stay here. Our kids LOVED exploring the river and warming up in the hot tub after. We all had a lot of fun playing ping pong and used some of the board games provided as well. Campfires were also a favorite. It was perfect. So much do do in this area! This was our first time in Michigan and we hope to return.

Awesome place!!!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! My older kids loved playing ping pong, the hot tub and floating down the beautiful river! My husband and I loved the beautiful large and clean house surrounded by woods and the sounds of the river! The owner was very Kind, helpful And quick to reply with all of our questions! We are planning to come back again!

Anniversary getaway
We had a a great time. We did some fishing in the river and saw a few salmon but no takers. Hot tub was nice addition and probably the main reason we booked this place. We had dinner at Crystal mt and went there for the spa the next day. We will definitely be back probably with the kids next time. Thanks again.

Good home base for a fun weekend
We had a great stay at this property. Awesome communication with the property owner and a very short distance to crystal mountain. The betsy river was perfect to climb into a wet a line with the kids with a fair amount of success. I can imagine in the fall youd be getting into the fish big time. Will be returning for that in the future
