"Very comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in an old and well kept pub. The room was very clean, roomy and cosy. Bathroom worked well and had hot water always. The staff were kind and helpful. We had two days where there was no breakfast because it was Christmas and they discounted those two nights but also provided some oatmeal tubs for us and extra bits for the morning which we appreciated. "Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"It was a nice stay. I had a long term stay that was over 30 days. I had the double room, and i felt like it was cramped due to the ceilings. I had to constantly be stooping over or craining my neck in the room. I wouldn't rebook this room for a stay longer than a week. The owner was great and very nice."
