"I was very disappointed with Paleo hotel, The shower water in the wet room did not drain away, so was always wet and slippery. The window rattled in the wind. Thika is a burgeoning city and the smaller cousin of Nairobi. It is always good to be careful here as crime does happen. Usually people are very nice and if you offer a smile and a Swahili greeting it goes a long way. Never go for the first price.
