"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"The hosts (Americans, who settled in France a few years ago ) were very kind and helpful. They speak French, English and Spanish. The husband - who is also the cook - proposes dishes typical to the area for the dinner. Nice location, terrasse, and pool. The rooms are nice, but I would prefer a wood floor rather than tiles."

"Si vous souhaitez visiter Cahors et ses environs (Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie etc), cette maison d' hôtes est parfaite. Vous êtes seulement à 6 kms de Cahors et dans une résidence de charme restaurée avec beaucoup de gout. Le petit déjeuner dans la salle de réception est très bien. "Pam and Glynn run a gorgeous, friendly and relaxing home from home (with more sunshine) close to Domme. It’s a relatively new house with a few guest rooms, a self catering unit in the lower ground ( for 6 people), a lovely terrace for breakfast, several outdoor seating areas (in the sun and shade) for lounging and eating, and a swimming pool that my girls enjoyed swimming & cooling off in. Pam & Glynn are very welcoming, plenty of chat and good tips on what to do and visit in the area - Glynn...
