"The area was gorgeous and the cottages were set up really cute and quaint! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The road to the cottages could use some work, and should be driven with mindfulness. Just to be clear; this is a rural and homely experience on a farm. A place to hang your hat and enjoy the calm & quiet of the small lakeside. "Rented one of the cabins but was very disappointed to discover the water heater was broken and did not produce hot water for the showers. Instead we had to use the community showed and they were dirty and the clientele created a filthy unclean shower space..... Overpriced and not the comfortable experience we were looking for with a cabin."

"We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin! The cabin was clean, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals on site are delightful. The hosts are very easy to talk with and were happy to take us on a tour of the property. We enjoyed seeing the cows right outside of our cabin as we relaxed in the mornings on the comfortable porch. There are great restaurants in the nearby town, and a grocery store is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We would definitely choose to stay here again!"

It was apparent that the property inside and outside had not been well kept. "First off, Amanda is fantastic, extremely communicative, and very helpful. Upon driving to the home, it was exactly as listed in the pictures. The house is enormous, and for the price you’re paying for what you get in the property, I would say that it is one of the best rentals in the Houston area. House was very clean and plenty of space, there were only 2 of us but there are 4 big bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the master bathroom is huge! The beds are very comfortable for a good nights sleep. There are 2 living areas with sofas to watch tv, we only used the main area by the front door but both were equally good for watching an evening movie.
