The Waterfront Inn in the Villages was perfectly located for our visit and stay in the Lake Sumpter square area. The staff was welcoming and helpful and ...fun! Great service from the front desk and the onsite restaurant staff. The hotel was perfectly adequate - just not quite as luxurious as the Brownwood in the Brownwood square area. The price was fair and the room was clean with comfortable beds.

We had a wonderful one night stay in the Pelican Suite. Huge room with balcony overlooking lake and pool area. Beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to checking early. Bar area with fireplace is a beautiful new addition. They are about to redo wall paint and carpet so some of the areas showing a little age will look refreshed Soooo close to square (with nightly music) and restaurants. That was a big plus for us - the walkable area. We did not use hot tub or heated pool but saw people in both and they both looked great. Free coffee in lobby and it was actually really good coffee! Ha. Will definitely stay here again!
