"We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. I’m mad I didn’t catch the young man’s name but he made sure to ask us if we were here for a special occasion. When we said it was just a date night, he said that deserves to be celebrated and instantly upgraded our room!! Check in lasted maybe all of 4 minutes and we were in our way. That is how you do a check in! The room was spacious and clean. There was some rust around the baseboard in the bathroom, very noticeable, but that was the only negative I really had. Overall, an amazing staff and stay!"

"Overall, I LOVED the property, the friendliness of the staff, amenities (gym, dining options, fire pits, etc.) With that being said, I did noticed the shower door in our room was not cleaned properly and neither was the countertop in the bathroom. I also noticed water leaking around the base of the sink faucets. I only bring this up because at the prices you pay to stay at the Salamander, I expect everything to be exceptional. ALL in ALL those were minor, seeing that my germophobic ways will not allow me to travel without taking or purchasing cleaning products locally. So I was able to clean the shower door and counter myself, which I would have done even if I didn't notice they had not been cleaned properly. I would definitely go back."

"Stayed April 2025, suit on the 3d floor, quiet, despite facing the highway, new kitchen utensils. The coffee e maker was left unclean having mold inside, but changed when asked. The washing sponge was left from previous guests, which was unpleasant. Someone was smoking marijuanna in their bathroom underneath and it vented trough. I gave 4 stars for those cleaned things, other than that great hotel. "
