"This historic hotel is a treasure with beautiful landscaping and overflowing with flowers. The restaurant serves a big spectrum of food and drinks and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and did everything they could to be accommodating. The room was tight but was cozy and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the towels wonderful. However it took a while for the water to get hot. This was one of our best stays in our 2 week visit of NZ and would love to return."
