"Excellent small hotel. Beautiful house, good food, and nice clean rooms! I’m not sure why other reviewers didn’t like the place. Maybe they were expecting $600 rooms for $180? Some of the rooms are a bit small, but the cleanliness, food, and service are overall excellent. It’s very quiet and in a really cute village."

"Given that there was no AC, it would have been nice to be able to open the windows, but they were un-openable. Thankfully they had a little fan. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was quite good."

"We stayed one night on a road trip through the North Shore. The room was comfortable and clean although on the small side. No carpet on the floor which we like. The bathroom was recently redone and was roomy with a good shower. The rooms are upstairs from the restaurant so if you have trouble with stairs this might not be a good option. We did not experience any noise from the restaurant below the room or from the street. Our rate did not include breakfast but we had a very good reasonably...
