The staff was not only very courteous, but seemed to enjoy and respect each other which is always a good indicator of a well run business! "We recently stayed at a charming rental house in Double Springs, Alabama, for four nights. Nestled in a rural and secluded area, the house offered the perfect escape into nature, with excellent hiking trails and stunning natural surroundings just a short distance away. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how cute the house was. It matched the description in the listing perfectly and was clean and well-maintained. The amenities were just as advertised, and we especially appreciated having a washer and dryer available during our stay. The standout feature of this property was the gazebo near a clear, babbling stream. We loved sipping our morning coffee and tea while listening to the soothing sounds of the water. Another highlight was the secret beach hidden through the woods, where we spent peaceful moments enjoying the scenery. Even our dog, Duff, had a blast cooling off in the stream! The location was more scenic than convenient, which is exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. While there weren’t any stores, restaurants, or shops nearby, it didn’t detract from the experience for us. Our hosts Maggie and Mark provided clear guidance and helpful tips that enhanced our stay. "Much better than I expected for the price. What more could you ask for, than a clean, comfortable, (great pillows) safe place to stay at a reasonable price. How about a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room plus free breakfast with hot waffles. Better than some motels I've stayed in at twice the price."

"We stayed here with our wedding party for the weekend while getting married in double springs and loved it. Was very relaxing and had a beautiful view. Made a lot of great memories and highly recommend. Had no issues but great contact with host if any arose. They were be try friendly and helpful. "

"4 nights was perfect getaway! Property is very peaceful (especially in late October) with no one else around. Road in is long and dusty so be prepared to dust off or keep belongings in the vehicle. Recommend a SUV or truck s the last little stretch of road is rough. Overall we highly recommend!"

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coffee on the porch to start our days, and then relaxing by the firepit to cap it off. My kids loved playing on the dock and rocks along the shore. They could have spent a whole week down there. My one criticism is the lighting in the living room / kitchen is lacking. It seemed dark in there, even in the middle of the day with all the windows. Other than that, it was great!"
