"Expensive but so new, clean and beautiful. Fancy. A railroad track right behind. Charges for water. Restaurant wasn’t suitable for my son so he went across the road to a fast food. Restaurant could have compensated for a fly in my wine. They were kind but just changed the glass and gave less wine lol "

"The staff was friendly and helpful, the hhotel is a bit outdated with decor and furniture from the 90s but this is shown on the site as well. The highway is close about 1 block away which can be great but bad with noises. But besides that not a bad place for a night. "

"House is absolutely perfect! This is our second time staying and we will definitely return. So much charm and warmth. I had the best sleep that I have had in months. All the amenities you could ask for, and more. Terrific convenient location. Host goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. "

"The property was awesome with great amenities and proximity to everything we wanted. I loved the multiple bathrooms, the Streaming TV service, and the bedroom options. The owner were incredibly easy to communicate with and were always answering our questions. There was some minor damage (from previous clients) to the inside of the home but we did report it with photos. The drive way is on a sever incline and and our large pick up actually slid down to the street before stopping. I went and bought some rock salt and resolved that issue but that is normal when it snows. I would stay at the property again no questions. We loved it and had a great time. Lloyd"

"We had a wonderful Christmas getaway with family at the “Ice Cream Cottage”. It is much more spacious than it looks on the outside.It was clean and had everything we needed. Host was attentive to any questions we had.The fenced in yard was great for our “fur baby” to run around."

"This quaint and charming New England home was very cozy and inviting for our Thanksgiving holiday. It was mostly well stocked with everything we needed (except shampoo and a blow dryer). It would have been helpful to have the light switches labeled because there were so many all over the house and some cleaning supplies and a hand vacuum to tidy up and keep the dust down). Having all hardwood floors is always nice. Sometimes the bedrooms got very chilly in the night because of the programming of the thermostat but we managed and I would have like a little more comfortable seating in the kitchen area. The dining room was lovely for our dinners and there was plenty of room. I am used to rentals without any personal belongings or photographs, etc. but it gave the house a lived in feel, which is a personal preference so if you don’t like that it may be helpful information. Also some of the furniture is quite fragile because it is antique and needs to be handled with care and there was one dining chair with a broken leg that fortunately no one sat in before discovering. The security with motion detection was helpful for knowing when someone was arriving because you can’t see the parking area near the front door from the kitchen downstairs. The layout of the house is interesting and I would not recommend for anyone who has trouble with stairs because they are unavoidable. The beds and linens were comfortable and more than adequate. it was a lovely place to call home for."

"Pre-stay communication was excellent, with our host contacting me with suggestions for outings (I asked). Our host met us, gave us a tour of the property - not just the living space but the grounds, too. The house is cozy, well thought out and has small touches like a deck of cards (in case you have a couple of minutes of downtime), a beautiful tea set with a variety of delicious teas to use. The house is thoughtfully decorated, the couch and bed are comfortable and there is plenty of space for two people. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and we look forward to future opportunities to visit. "
