"The house is one of the newer on the island. It is located on RUSSELL island , across from the wonderful Sandbar. I would not say there is direct access to a beach. But you can easily hang out at the Sandbar beach, which is super popular destination for boaters to pull up, calm water, great food and drink. My husband and I decided to stay downstairs in the guest room simply to have a queen size bed instead of a double bed. Our door was a leaver door with slats that didn't lock so not a lot of privacy.
