Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. "Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying."

Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed.
