"We were looking for a secluded getaway and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the local hiki ng trails, with Greer Springs being our favorite. The cabin was really big and well maintained. Lots of extras were provided. We saw a lot of deer and birds but our favorite was the large skunk that made its way back and fourth during the evening in the meadow across the back fence line. We would stay here again."

"The property was as advertised. Everything was clean and in a peaceful location. We were a bit surprised at the size of the "lake" as it ended up being more of a pond. We did take the kayaks out but the water is pretty nasty and not ideal for swimming or fishing. That was all fine though because thr purpose of our trip was to float the Spring River. Overall a great stay and i would return."

"Wonderful stay in a quiet, river front neighborhood with husband and daughter’s family. The house was just as listed, clean and with all of the amenities needed. Clean, with comfortable beds. Very conveniently located to downtown and parks. Wonderful view of the Spring River where we saw ducks, heron and an osprey. Great communication with the owner. A great experience. "

"Simple aesthetically pleading cabin - rustic with new materials - we really enjoyed all the natural light in the cabin. Heating by space heaters only. Kayaks to jump on the river which you could literally stumble into it's so close. We had a couple of things come up and response was very swift. I would go back there for another stay in the future. "This was a quiet spot overlooking the Spring River. It was all we needed for a couple of days. Close to downtown Hardy, we found shops, places to eat, and parks to wander around in. Our only trouble was with the “smart” TV only because we’ve never had one. "
