"Great location and clean rooms. Mattress was very very firm and there was a lingering drain sewerage smell, just needed some bleach to clean the drain but I couldn’t find any for sale nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly. Toast and coffee in the morning was appreciated "

"Hostel location is good, very close to night market and Chiang Rai bus terminal 1. Unlimited hot and cold drinking water is provided, breakfast is basic and eggs are cooked when ordered. The lady owner was very kind and she stayed late for our late check-in time and provided us of what we requested. The reception girl was so helpful to book a tour for us. Overall we had an enjoyable stay at this hostel. "

"A traditional Lanna style house set up like a B&B. Gentle, helpful owners. The breakfast snd coffee exceeded my expectation. Room was lovely with a small balcony. Quiet street convenient to many things if you like walking"

"This homestay is a truly lovely and enjoyable experience. It is less social than the other hostels in the area. If you want to stay somewhere that is a bit more quiet and cozy than this is perfect for you. I loved the location and it is easy to get to all the stores and shops!"

"Stayed here for 2 nights ! The owners are amazing such beautiful people who go out of their way to do whatever you need breakfast is included and is a huge amount of food cooked on the property! If you’re looking for brand new, this is not your place if you’re looking for eclectic with a cool vibe, immersed into local culture this is your place super cheap for what you get ! Rented a scooter White and golden temple is about 25 min drive and a must see blue temple is about 20 min also very cool...

"Very quiet, well run hostel with attractive common areas. Located in a relatively quiet part of town away from bars and restaurants, which are a 10 minute walk away. This hostel was good value for a comfortable stay in lovely Chiang Rai. Convenient on site parking."

"We had a lovely stay at Spinomad Hostel. The host was very friendly and helpful. She even helped us to book a car to the tea plantation when our driver fell through. This hostel is a great deal for the pice. It is clean and comfortable and in a great area of the city!"

"This place is amazing! So simple and clean. The NICEST staff ever! We were there for several days and they made every day so wonderful with smiles, their most perfect baby, their amazing drinks in the cafe, and absolutely anything we needed (cabs, advice, figuring out how to eat certain foods)! I LOVED my stay here and will hopefully be back! I HIGHLY recommend!"

"10minute walk to town. Nice setting. Running route around the hotel, light at night. Pool and garden areas pleasant. Breakfast very comprehensive across European and Asian cuisine. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The Grand Visa is a NICE hotel. Everything was clean & worked. The bed was comfy & they had lots of pillows. The shower was nice & hot. The bar fridge stayed on when you left the room. We ordered room service & they were fast & the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet had good choices & was well presented. They had an egg station which was nice. Staff were friendly & housekeeping did a good job. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Second time being at this property. The service from the staff is professional, friendly and attentive. The rooms and facilities are well maintained clean. The restaurants and cafe are excellent, especially the Italian restaurant Favola, a must try. Overall excellent property, a great place to spend your time and vacation."
