This place was clean and comfortable. Close to cruise dock within 15 minutes. The breakfast included a pancake maker instead of the waffle maker. Easy check and checkout.

The first desk individual was very accommodating and works quickly. We had mold on our sheets and he advocated to make sure we were taken care of immediately. We got a new room. We have stayed here before when going on a cruise and the man at front desk is always working hard to make sure people are happy.

Nice large rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Easy check-in. I have stayed here twice before boarding my cruise in Galveston. Good price and breakfast is included!! Close to Galveston and a much better price than you can get in Galveston.

I was a little leery of this hotel when I read the reviews. Yes there is a mildew or mold smell in the hotel but I wasn’t horrible. And yes the customer service at the front desk could be better but overall it was decent and clean. I would stay here again for a short visit. The only huge suggestion I have is get better pillows on the bed. Those things were as flat as a pancake!

Checked in around 2200, staff on duty not friendly, a curt request for "ID and Credit Card", then reception unmanned when I wanted to buy some snacks. Issue with the vending machine giving out wrong drinks (PIB behind the Coke buttons) to which staff said "not my problem". Bad smell throughout the hotel, damp smell. Our room had an "ozone machine" plugged in, a machine which shouldn't be used when people are in the room!

Run the other way!
First room was filled with ants and smelled moldy. Was offered a different room, no discount or compensation. Was still moldy smelling. Breakfast wasn’t kept stocked up and the breads were stale. AC was noisy! Probably the WORST hotel experience in a very, very long time. I will not return to this hotel EVER again.
