It was beautiful will equipped . Full of antiques and history of the cabin built by Wilbur Eich was absolutely rustic .The fire place to the outside fire pit was so lovely. The elk bugling. And the peace and quiet with the fresh air. Was totally relaxing. Would highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Not what was expected
Photos are old, inferior basic infrastructure. Described as rustic but actually in severe disrepair. Outside has ladders, extension cords, old truck and broken down snowblowers, camper is parked on sight and there are Yurts near cabin. Inside has broken window, torn screens, broken stair, dirty sheets, (gum or tide pods stuck in them), could not view Tetons well because of the dirt on the windows, some windows nailed shut, clutter everywhere. sign in master bedroom states”DANGER, CONSTRUCTION AREA KEEP OUT” to keep you from going to the balcony . Booked from09/03/-09/10,Stayed 4 nights, third night we had brown water because the well stopped working, after long hikes we could not cook, use bathroom facilities at ALL. 4th night they assured it was fixed after we repeatedly called several times during the day, came back to brown water and no use of facilities again. She found us a place to stay the next day at the base of the Mountain but booked the wrong one, ended up in a 2nd floor hot condo in downtown Driggs, lost two days of our trip. We traveled from the East coast and had planned this trip for over a year and have used VRBO for eight years with only awesome places to stay. Very disappointing.

Cozy Historic Cabin
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is the perfect place! The winding road out to your own piece of serenity brings you to this hidden little gem. Cabin has amazing views of the Tetons and land that goes on forever! Cabin offers charm and coziness! You can feel the history and love that has gone into making this cabin. The owner, Marcie, was great at answering any questions and offered amazing advice for things to do around town. As our conversations lasted through our stay, at the end I felt I had a new friend. From the first correspondence at the time of making the reservation to the final goodbye, she was nothing but a superior host.

Peaceful retreat
We really enjoyed our stay at the rustic cabin! The views of Grand Teton and the valley were great, and the cabin was perfect for relaxing after long days of hiking and seeing the sites. If you're looking for a place in the center of things, this isn't the cabin for you. But if you want some peace and solitude, great accommodations, and beautiful views, this is the place! We didn't hear a peep the entire week of our stay. If we're in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely Host and Great Place to Stay
We enjoyed the privacy, views and homeliness of the cabin along with greater area it was located in. This area west of the Grand Tetons had many outdoor activities (we enjoyed hikes through lush green forests) and the towns, Driggs and Victor had many good restaurants.

Perfect cabin. Very secluded. Rustic but just enough comforts. Views of Valley/Tetons. Owners were amazing.!! Lots of wildlife around the cabin. Love the very long driveway with incredible views. Idaho countryside is beautiful. Rolling farmland and patches of trees/sage. Can't wait to come back.!!

Great getaway
We had a fantastic time staying in this rustic cabin away from the crowds and rush of Jackson. The hosts were BEYOND friendly and accommodating, almost like we had known each other for years. Beautiful and serene, the two mile drive from the main road to the cabin always felt like a calming and meditative exercise. I get annoyed driving a mile to get anywhere in Dallas - but I never got tired of these two miles at 15 mph. This trip was exactly what we were looking for, and helped us fall in love with the Driggs area.

Great Cabin in Amazing Location
We had such a great time at the cabin visiting from Ohio. I am so glad that we stayed Idaho side of the Tetons as the Teton Valley provided access to awesome golf, lots of great entertainment and restaurants, and phenomenal hiking trails all without having to go around the mountain. Even still, the trip to Grand Teton National Park was an easy drive and we got to experience spectacular views and phenomenal hiking. The rustic cabin was the perfect place to come back and crash after a long day in the Tetons and we spent every evening enjoying a fire and taking in the view of the Teton Valley. Can’t recommend it enough!

My family wanted a quiet peaceful location off the beaten path, and that’s exactly what we found! After visiting Yellowstone, GTNP, and the surrounding areas, this was the perfect place to wind down & enjoy the beautiful views from the back yard. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Perfect stay
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. You can feel the care that went into its construction and the special history it hold. It’s very comfortable, quiet and provided the peaceful setting we wanted. It’s perfectly situated to provide breathtaking views. The location is certainly private yet convenient to town and nearby trails. Marci and Greg are terrific hosts. We also fell in love with the resident outdoor kitty. Every part of our stay was memorable. We’d definitely visit again!

Beautiful area!
We loved our stay at Marcie's cabin! Beautiful surroundings and rustic decor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked!!The only minor issue was that the rooms seemed dark....several light bulbs burned out. Marcie would have totally fixed this, but such a small issue, we didn't ask her. We even saw a mama bear and cub near the cabin!

Fantastic Stay as winter turned to summer! :)
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Eich cabin in mid-May thru June 1st. Marcie and Greg were fabulous hosts as we settled in. We very much enjoyed chatting with them about the cabin's history when they stopped by to pick up some things from the shop. If you are looking for a genuine experience of staying at a mountain cabin with all the fixin's (both rustic and modern), looking out 20 miles across a valley with mountains in the distance this is the place for you! Peaceful and quiet, and yet a close 10 mile drive into the towns of Driggs and Tetonia for a good food at local restaurants. A great place as a base camp for adventures to Grant Teton and Yellowstone Parks. We can't recommend enough!

Exactly what we needed
Relaxing private experience on acreage. Wildlife, rolling hills, and view of Grand Teton. Ranks among our best vacations ever. We even got fresh snow. If you go in the winter, work out snow removal expectations up front. Love the privacy, but its a mile and a half dirt lane...and we are Floridians :)

Your own Private Idaho
This property is a true find. Initially we planned on using it as a base for many day hikes and trail rides, but...the cabin was simply so wonderful we ended up spending most of our time right there. There is a huge covered porch that overlooks the back pastures with the mountains in the distance. When not sitting on the porch or the expansive, beautiful lawn we played horse shoes or ate our meals on the picnic table. The bed upstairs was very comfortable with an ensuite 1/2 bath which was very convenient. Shower is downstairs and the pressure and hot water were plentiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and everything a cook could possibly need. The view from the kitchen? The Grand Tetons. Very cool at night which allowed us to use the fireplace with the excellent firewood they provided. It was nothing short of a perfect stay - the only thing that would have improved it would have been more time! Thank you Marcie for sharing your little bit of heaven with us :)

Beautiful Relaxing Cabin
This place is amazing. The cabin is perfect, even homey. You can see the Grand Tetons right out the window. All types of wildlife come into the yard. The drive off the main road will relax you from whatever daily activities you had been doing. Two miles off the main road with the last half winding through an aspen grove.
