“Lallina” is our last… masterpiece. Two long winters spent to rebuild from the foundations an old ruined barn. Wooden ceilings, terracotta floors and obviously.. astonishing panorama of the surrounding hills.
Three double bedrooms ensuited with bathroom at the upper floor. At the ground floor Casa Lallina offers a wide kitchen and an open-space living-room, plus a separated part with double sofa-bed and private bathroom.
Adjoining to the house there’s a covered terrace with kitchen and barbecue.
Lallina house shares the swimming-pool with 3 more units of "Borgo Fajani".
Although the pool is shared, the house has private sun-beds and sun-shades in a private part of the garden plus a private covered terrace with BBQ.
Two restaurants!
Only a few steps from your house there is “La Locanda degli Artisti”, a tiny lovely family pizzeria/restaurant, owned by Manuela and Carlo, who cook only with local fresh organic produce.
And few steps away as well, "Laqua Vineyard" a Michelin 1 star restaurant!

Stunning villa in beautiful location
Incredible villa - couldn't recommend enough. Set down a country path, in a small village, the villa is surrounded by beautiful countryside, vineyards and quaint Tuscan villages. There is even a Michelin starred restaurant in the village. The villa itself is large, with 4 bathrooms and ample space for a family, as well as a large kitchen and outside grill and eating area. The pool is excellent and shared with a couple of other villas. In a heartbeat, would stay again! Thanks to Alfredo for making the stay so smooth.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!
We have had a wonderful family holiday in a fantastic location in the Tuscan countryside. Alfredo was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble with very helpful ideas and places to visit locally. Fantastic family restaurant on the doorstep we really didnt want to say goodbye. We would highly recommend this to all and we will definately return.

Fantastic!
We stayed with friends two weeks in Lallina and just loved it. The house is spacious, the view gorgious, and the interior useful, no needless decorations that could break (quite handy with kids). The three bedrooms have enough space to feel comfy, you have a wardrobe and cupboard for your belongings and aprivate bathroom each. Our kids loved "their" fourth sleeping place- a couch-bed behind a curtain with en-suite next to the living room. The house is clean. The windows have inside shutters to keep the heat outside, so there's no need for an a/c (despite temperatures over 35 degrees C). Mosquito nets in front of the windows would be nice- we were eaten alive this year. The pool is shared with three other houses, but each has its own sunbeds and area. The pool is well looked after and the owner maintains it daily. He is quite discreet but more than happy to help with information or just to chat. It's a lovely spot, next to the house is a wee restaurant/pizzeria (booking is necessary but they do "take away" for the guest in case they are fullly booked). You also can get dairies at the farm next door. For other errands you definitely need a car. Cecina beach is an hour drive, parking fee is moderate and you have free beaches in between, where you can bring your own sunshade. Pisa with its Tower is quite nice for kids and also an hour drive. Thank you for this wonderful holiday! I felt like queen of the castle!

Perfect in every way!
Just returned from a wonderful stay here. The house was very spacious, clean and had everything required for a family. We enjoyed a gorgeous meal cooked for us by a lovely lady from the village, wine tasting at the vineyard opposite (be warned- large samples!), visiting the numerous villages around and further afield, such as, Sienna and Pisa. The hamlet and house was very tranquil and Alfredo could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Gorgeous views to admire early morning and evening in peace. Pool refreshing (considering the 40 plus degrees) and maintained daily. Pleasant meal in the small restaurant next to the house. Sadly the little organic farm/shop a few steps away no longer sells bread but great for cheese, yogurt, balsamic vinegar, oil, grape juice and eggs. Lovely to have your own outside eating area. Thank you Alfredo!

A lovely break in the countryside of Tuscany
Alfredo was an excellent host and we were very happy with our accommodation. The beautiful weather and wonderful sunrises each morning across the countryside were a joy. We enjoyed a meal cooked by a local lady (Sandra) who came into the villa to cook for us. This was excellent value; and she left the food all ready for us and thoroughly cleaned up before she left too!! I would highly recommend this; a perfect end to a busy day sightseeing; all you need to do is serve the food, open the wine and enjoy :) Recommend a trip to Florence and also Lucca.

Excellent property in great location
Previously we've always booked somewhere on its own with a private pool and decided on Borgo Fajani because we felt our teenagers might appreciate more people around, so we weren't quite sure how we would feel about this choice. We never regretted a moment. The combination of a quality single villa in a group sharing a pool and with a small restaurant in a small hamlet proved perfect. The view is superb. In the foreground is the gentle activity of a working mixed farm (vineyards, orchard etc), a couple of miles to the East the hilltop town of Peccioli and to the distant South the hills around Volterra. Alfredo is a kind and thoughtful host and a good communicator in the period leading up the hire. Of all the villas we've hired in Tuscany and Umbria over the years, this is the one we would be most likely to go back to.

Great Stay!
Alfredo was very helpful and accommodating. Views from the house were amazing and just how we had envisioned Tuscany. The house was perfect and plenty big for eight of us. My kids loved the farm down the hill. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location
Location is well maintained and clean. Alfredo is a caring person who is very helpful and giving advice on any questions you may have. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and we were feeling very well during our stay. The pool was clean and each apartment has a separate terrace and Barbecue. The setting is picturesque in a small old city with a very special Restaurant next door. It is a perfect place for daytrips or also just to relax a couple of days. For those who are cyclists the area is perfect for tours through the wine yards around.

Beautiful views, helpful owner!
I cannot say enough about this lovely property. When we arrived and walked in the door, we felt at home and relaxed. There were 5 of us, 2 children. The views were spectacular, the hamlet was charming, the property was very clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The children loved the pool, the animals on the farm, and their room. The owner Alfredo was so kind and helpful. He was around often, and gave great suggestions for day trips. He arranged a cook for dinner one night - delicious! The winery next door gave a great tour and tasting. The location was perfect for us, with several places to choose from to go everyday, usually all within an hours drive. We would love to go back again. Thanks!

Great holidays in tuscan
We stayed in the Lallina Villa, at Borgo Fajani, in a such beautifull place of this wonderfull Tuscan. House is modern, just being renovated, vera big house with 3 large bedroom and their bathroom, and another bed can be used. Such a great place to stay on holidays, with the possibility to buy eggs and other farm products. Alfredo is always available for help, and gave us some very good information to visit Tuscan, winery, This was so amasing holidays i think we may come back to Alfredo's place soon !

LOVED this property, VERY clean and COMFY beds!
Borgo Fajani is in the heart of the Tuscan Sun!. We stayed at Borgo Fajani in the Lallina Villa. The old farmhouse has been completely remodeled. I am a decorator so the decor has to be warm,inviting and clean. Everything is new, the bathrooms are very nice and kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. It was VERY clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. I was totally impressed with Alfredi the owner, we commented on the beds and he said that the best mattresses were chosen b/c if you don't sleep on holiday you don't enjoy holiday. I can tell you we left Tuscany and headed to Venice and the beds in Venice were horrible! While staying at Borgo Fajani we walked across the street to an amazing winery and we walked down the road from the villa to a truly organic cheese and olive oil shop. The owner was inviting and her cheeses were delicious.! We truly had an amazing experience with the locals and Alfredi's gave us a booklet that was full of great restaurants, outings, wineries and more. I would totally stay at this villas again!!

Christmas vacation in Lallina
We recently had 2 weeks holiday over Christmas and new year at Lallina ,Borgofajani farmhouses in Casanova Terricciola .This was probably the best holiday we ever had. Casanova is a small but charming hamlet with stunning views of Tuscan countryside . The sunrises and sunsets are simply awesome. .We fell in love with the place and immediately felt at home .We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can't wait to revisit in future. As there were 7 of us we hired 2 cars and toured around Tuscany including Chianti region. Lallina is spacious and well equipped .All bedrooms are large and very comfortable .We loved the fireplace . .The great Alfredo was always at hand to help if there was any problem and proved to be an excellent host. One evening we had a Tuscan meal Cooked by Flora who lives in the hamlet. Needless to say her Chingialle olive ( Wild boar in olives) was delicious and to die for . Coming back to Lallina all bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and have stunning views of vineyards. .It is conveniently situated just 40 minutes from Pisa and not far to travel to visit Florence, Siena ,San Gimignano, Volterra etc. These places are a must .You are spoilt for the choice of wines and food .The only gripe I have is that this area keeps all the gorgeous wines locally which we never see in England !! :-) . I must mention the cheese shop just 10 yards from Lallina .The cheese is made in house and you should take an empty jug or wine bottle if you want to buy fresh milk . The signora at the shop is an amazing lady who in spite of advancing years can out walk anyone .I could go on singing it's praises but seeing is believing and you have to be there to relish it .Big thanks to our mate Alfredo who helped us every bit of the way ,from booking till the last day. Enjoy the stay .Forza Lallina !! :-)

Traumurlaub in der Toskan
Wir, Familie aus Hamburg mit zwei Kindern, fahren jedes Jahr in die Toskana. Im Sommer 2013 haben wir zwei Wochen im Lallina verbracht. Dieses Haus war unser bisher schönster und angenehmster Ferienunterkunft in der Toskana. Das Haus ist perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub, es ist gut geschnitten, schön eingerichtet und hat eine wunderbare überdachte Terrasse. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, man blickt bis nach Volterra. Die Lage im kleinen, charmanten Dort Casanova ist ideal für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca, Forte dei Marmi, Florenz, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Castelfalfi, Bolgheri und viele weitere schöne Orte. Der Vermieter Alfredo ist ein sehr netter und angenehmer Gastgeber. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Modern, well equipped and spacious.
When I first saw this property on the internet, I noticed how modern it is. I visit Italy almost every year and although you get the Tuscan feel...I can't help wanting that same feel but with WiFi! This is a newly built property that captures that Tuscan experience but has a modern kitchen (dishwasher/fridge freezer etc.), a barbeque area outdoors and a fantastic pool. Alfredo was as helpful and as friendly as anyone could be. For example, one morning when we decided to eat out that evening, my wife wanted to iron her dress but couldn't find an ironing board. Alfredo said he didn't have one but he'd sort it out. That afternoon, he handed in a brand new one...he bought one that day! He kept the grounds immaculate and was always asking for feedback or suggestions in order to ensure we had the best possible experience. Pisa is a typical tourist destination but the small town of Peccioli nearby is worth a visit...eat at a small restaurant called Ferretti...delicious! The property has an interesting history, something Alfredo kindly shared with us and took us on a mini tour of the old wine making area that runs underneath the hamlet. In summary, I would recommend this to anyone as my family and I had a great time. Did I mention it had WiFi also?

Large, Bright Farmhouse - Highly Recommend
My husband and one year old son stayed in Lallina for one week during our four-week vacation in Italy. This was our favourite of the four places we rented on the trip. Below are some detailed points regarding the house and setting: - We arrived in cold weather and the owner asked if we minded taking the house instead of the apartment we had initially rented. The house was large and warm. Quite the upgrade! - Open, bright, clean, well provisioned. - Great place to stay with a baby/toddler. The cot and high chair were perfect and the house was relatively easy to baby-proof (only had to block off the stairs and move the television). - Easy access to laundry. - Large usable kitchen. - Large table. - Very comfortable beds. - Owner was responsive, easily reached, helpful, and very hospitable. - Great setting- we enjoyed getting our bread from the daily “bread truck” and buying cheese, milk, and yogurt from the neighbouring farms. Our toddler loved going for walks to see the chickens, dogs, birds, and neighbours. - Beautiful views. In warm weather we would have enjoyed sitting on the terrace.

Tranquil and idyllic Tuscan holiday
We were a group of 6 (3 couples) and we had a wonderful 9 days staying at Borgo Fajani. We were the first visitors to stay in Lallina which Alfredo had just finished renovating. 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom provided spacious and modern accommodation with spectacular views across the Tuscan valley and vineyards. Large kitchen and ample sitting and dining room also with views. Facilities were fantastic with beautiful warm and daily maintained pool, sunlounges, undercover BBQ area and tables also fine for working outdoors with the wifi enabling receipt of emails and internet. There is a working dairy and farm shop in the same hamlet only seconds walk away with fresh farm produce - milk, cheeses, eggs, honey, pasta, olive oil, balsamic etc. Only short drives to Pisa, Florence, Volterra and San Gimignano within an hour and Sienna, Lucca a little further. We all loved it! One special feature was Flora, a local resident of the hamlet who prepared a cooked a traditional Tuscan meal for all of us one afternoon and evening which we enjoyed with a glass (or more) of local chianti. Memorable! And finally, thanks to our wonderful host Alfredo, who went out of his way to make us feel at home. We look forward to going back.
