"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

"My wife and I stayed a week and really enjoyed the property. The outdoor spaces in particular are awesome. Spacious, varied, shaded, sun, views from everywhere, lovely garden and plantings. The house itself is well done and equipped, cozy but kind of small. I would recommend putting screen doors (yes I know they don't exist in Europe) on the doors so you can get fresh air without leaving them wide open to the creatures and insects. Lastly, the roads leading to the house are pretty rough, and an SUV with a little extra clearance would be wise. The roads also add time to wherever you want to go. Just remember, you are not walking to town, and it is 15 minutes to drive to any town, so if you like convenience over privacy, this may not be the one for you. But it really is a great spot, and definitely have Bruno cook you dinner. Worth every Euro."

"We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station. Thanks to Alberto and Rossella for a fantastic Sicilian feast to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday.. We will definitely return! "

"Great old converted estate. Amazing views, lovely rooms with character, facilities were great (Olympic size pool, tennis courts). Very friendly staff. Importantly dog friendly, we even got a special dog bag with goodies. "

"We needed a place on short notice close to Trabia, and Paolo and his sister made sure everything worked out, despite some confusion on check-in as we worked through visiting Italy for the first time. Communication was excellent, there was always someone available to answer questions and we had plenty. Two of the most important things for us: the apartment was very child-friendly; our adventurous two-year old son really could find almost nothing to get into trouble with (after some very minor shifting of the furniture). Secondly, the dining area has a beautiful view of the sea, huge windows, bright and airy with the sound of breaking waves making any meal that much more relaxing, which we really needed this trip. The kitchen is a little cramped, very little counter space for cooking. But everything worked well, even through a gale. We didn't have a car, and access to Trabia and the train station with a stroller was not easy--the roads are not designed to accommodate that, clearly, with narrow tunnels and cracked sidewalks. But it was everything we needed and more, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area. "
