"Location was superb down private road with river on one side and a stones throw to the spectacular beach on the other side. The home was clean, spacious, modern and well appointed. I especially loved the layout of the four bedrooms and bathrooms, the 'hidden away' amenity cupboards and the welcoming combined living and kitchen. Would recommend to a small extended family group and hope to visit again"

"Family of 11 stayed at property for Christmas period. Property was good for size family, good size bedrooms and 2 large living areas. The pool was a great asset and outdoor area was nice. However I feel that for the amount of money paid, simple things like the kitchen needed more utensils and cooking appliances. This was limited and basic. "The Lodge is so peaceful and quiet. The balcony is a wonderful place to start and end the day. The beach and Byron town centre is only 10 minutes so it really is a wonderful blend of country and coast! The owners Steve and his wife are very responsive and caring. The lodge and main house are next door to each other yet cleverly designed for maximum privacy between the houses. "This house is in a great, in a tucked away little corner but still close to everything. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we could want. Property managers were fantastic and super easy to deal with. The only negative was the extremely noisy construction directly across the street. The teenagers didn’t cope with all the banging and crashing starting at 6:30am every day. When that’s done, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!"
