The SMI is great stopover in Tenterfield. The rooms are very clean, quiet, with comfortable beds. The kitchenware provides a few more eating options. The staff and management are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good find 😊😊

The place was clean and tidy. The room was spacious with a good set of basic facilities: split system aircon/heater, toaster, kettle, microwave, tv and bathroom. The location was good because it was a nice 5 minute walk into town.

We stayed at the Settlers Motor Inn for two nights room (No1) which was good size but a very tiny bathroom. The motel is on the main road on the edge of town on top of a grade so you can hear the trucks passing although the window was double glazed. That said the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Most of the other rooms were taken by workers in the area.

Clean, well maintained motel with friendly and helpful staff. The undercover parking is a big plus here. An easy walk to cafes and restaurants and good exercise walking back up the hill. Enjoyed my stay here!
