"Because it was more like a youth hostel for grown-ups, there were plenty of chances to meet interesting like-minded travelers. There was a good vibe. The facility is traditional to Tatami mats on the floor and futons bring your own food and cook in the condition and eat in the communal hall, overall very fun experience "

"A popular hotel that is visited by tour bus of tourist. The carpark almost always seems full but still able to find lots. The restaurant is also crowded but still beathable. More chinese and english speaking staff here. The 3 baths are amazing. Room size is also comfortable."

"The choices for the breakfast were very limited. There was no fruit and even cereal. Also, the standard of the food was below average. However, the room was very spacious and I particularly liked the bathtub. "

Lovely rooftop onsen plus ground floor onsen. The area around the hotel is a quiet with many ships and restaurants closed but that allowed us to enjoy the hotel facilities."

"We cannot recommend La Vista Daisetsuzan enough. We skied Asahi-dake two days and staying here made skiing simple. The front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was delicious, and the onsen was the perfect way to end each day. The hotel is older but updated in all the necessary ways. It has an ageless charm. The room was super comfortable. We absolutely loved every part of our stay. Quick tip: make sure to make your dinner and breakfast reservations before arrival. They send an email a couple of weeks before you arrive. As an English speaker, we missed it as it was in Japanese. "

"We had a wonderful 6 night stay. The staff are amazing and the food is incredible. The room was perfect size for a week or longer stay. Great couch and tv, with usb compatibility. If the bed and pillow were a little softer I would say it’s perfect. It was hard to leave."
