"This was an absolutely horrendous experience. The receptionist was extremely rude to us when we arrived at the hotel (in the middle of nowhere) early evening, and refused to give us our room despite having already fully paid. The room itself was basic and unclean. We would never recommend this place to anyone."

"Hard to be critical as the Hotel is 'under new Management' as of November 2018 and understandably there will be some teething problems. The potential for the place is massive. A lovely building with a (potentially) very nice garden, river view, games room/lounge/bar area, and a location on the outskirts of the centre of town allowing easy access to the sights. "We had a wonderful stay. From check in to check out everything was efficient, professional & very friendly. The staff were amazing & their service outstanding. Breakfast was delicious & served with a breath taking view!! After a long dusty day to be able to return to the Sky Pavillion for dinner was a welcomed delight. The food was great, service superb, so relaxing. Our room was immaculate with an incredible view. Thank you for an amazing welcome to Sri Lanka."
