"The hotel is located very centrally in Fiskars, but most of the rooms are located in a separate building across the street and breakfast is in a third building. The room was comfortable but very poor light in the desk (where you would apply your make-up)."

"First - I went to this property off-season. This review only pertains to off-season travel. Based on the Expedia add I expected a Viking themed experience. What I found was a regular motel. All of the "viking" amenities (in fact all amenities) are closed down off-season, even the front room with the viking-themed furniture and furs. I was disappointed, having driven an extra hour specifically to stay at this motel, that I didn't even manage to get a picture of the front room before it was...

"Interesting hotel as it was in an old mill town. we had a second level room- with a bridge access. Room got hot at night and could not figure out how to open the windows but it did have a nice fan. Nice breakfast- had a restaurant and bar in adjacent building, but since we were only one night did not get to use. Keep in mind dining room closes early so we had to drive to adjacent town to get dinner about 30 minutes away, but not bad. I would stay again. Lots of craft shops around0 had a...

Keep in mind dining room closes early so we had to drive to adjacent town to get dinner about 30 minutes away, but not bad. I would stay again. Lots of craft shops around0 had a nice mill town vibe and lots of history. Well cared for property"

"Bright, clean and fresh with all the facilities we needed to make the most of our stay. And the location was sublime - the perfect spot to chill and relax. Our landlord arriving by jet ski to welcome us was a special moment! One minor suggestion - an information guide on local attractions and facilities would help anybody new to the area, as we were."
