"We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. It is too bad that it closes on Saturdays and that it does not open later at night (it closes at 7:30 pm and it is very crowded in the evening). Les Hauts de Comborcieres is not really a hotel. "The hotel was perfectly placed in the town for bars and restaurants. The apartment was fine for two adults and was well equipped. View from the balcony was great looking out over the mountains , the staff were very helpful. Will be coming back again."

"After a shaky start at check in and a mix up with our reservation our stay was great. Reception staff very helpful. Close to gondola with access to various slopes. Room was fine with well equipped kitchen etc. water a little cold in the spa swimming pool but overall would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"The accommodation was pretty much what you'd expect of a budget ski residence, but was a long way from the village centre, the ski lifts, and even the bus stop which supposedly served the hotel. "Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

"First class hotel and standard of accommodation, in keeping with the CGH brand of residence. Location a little out of town, but close by the bus stop and regular village shuttle bus. Possible to ski directly back to the hotel, however to access the slopes in the morning, approximate 500m uphill walk, which may be an issue with young children/elderly.
