Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Beautiful views but dirty and run down
I will start with the positives - Beautiful views from the balcony which was the main thing that drew us to Sea Legs. The terraced area was a good size, and had a table and chairs and arm chairs. Despite it being next door to a cafe, there is a well placed umbrella providing some privacy.
Negatives -
Cleanliness: the standard of cleanliness was very poor. There were toenails in the drawers!!!! contact lenses (used) on the bedside table. The floors hadn't been cleaned properly and there were random objects underneath the beds which quite clearly shows it hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom wasn't clean, especially the shower floors which were thick with mould, and the one shower door let's the water run out over the bathroom floor, and there is a trail of mould along this, which clearly hasn't been cleaned in some time.
Comfort: there was no back to the sofa! Meaning we couldn't sit and relax one comfortable sofa... Just a few dirty cushions placed against the back. Very disappointed as this surely is an essential in a self catering property, advertising that it has a sofa ! Also the beds were very uncomfortable. The single beds did not have single duvets so they'd shoved a double into a single duvet cover which may seem a small detail but meant it was very uncomfortable and frustrating when trying to get comfy at night.
Communication: I had emailed before my visit twice, asking a few questions, neither were answered.
