"Old Tudor hotel in centre of Tewkesbury. Although you got the feel of a Tudor property, the rooms & bathrooms have been refurbished with modern fittings, & walk in showers. No lifts & bedrooms over two floors so there can be quite a few steps. All staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Bar closed 10.30pm even for residents Thursday which was a surprise. "Fantastic location. The room was lovely. Thin walls did mean we could hear anything that was happening in the landing and some inconsiderate guests were yelling up and down the stairs one night when they returned home very late. "
