Welcome to Manitou Riverhouse 115, an AvantStay home!

Newly renovated in July of 2021, this downtown Telluride, two-bedroom, luxury condo is tucked into the side of the hill. Its private deck provides views overlooking the river, the gondola, and the Oak Street chairlift.

The Manitou Riverhouse is located on the south side of the San Miguel River, a short walk to skiing, dining, and shopping in the heart of Telluride. Cross the river via the beautiful pedestrian bridge and walk through the open deck area, past the hot tub gazebo. Continue through the complex via several steps, walkways, and up staircases on the east side of the building.

This spacious, fully-renovated condo is hidden against tall pines, giving it a quiet feel all while being located in the center of Telluride. Enter the condo mudroom and find the master bedroom with a queen bed with an updated Casper mattress just to your right, with an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has its own flatscreen TV and a nice view of the river and the Marshall Basin ridge tops. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure.

Down the hallway is a bedroom with two twin bunk beds with updated Casper mattresses, its own flatscreen, and the common-access bathroom with tub and shower.

Straight down the hall is the great room. The kitchen, with new stainless-steel appliances including a five-burner gas range, dishwasher, and microwave has all you'll need to have meals family-style. The kitchen peninsula has comfy, bar seating and opens up to the living room with a large, sleeper sofa and wrap-around windows. To the right is a custom, built-in dining nook with seating for 7. The large flatscreen, SMART TV is HDMI compatible, with YouTube TV, for guest use. The condo has high-speed, wireless internet. There is also a modern, gas fireplace and custom artwork to help make your vacation an incredible experience you won’t forget.

Off the living room area is a sliding glass door opening onto a big west-to-south facing deck. Views are looking toward the gondola and across town to Cornet Creek. Stairs from the deck also go down to the river overlook below.

The complex has a common hot tub in the gazebo overlooking the river. The condo has its own ski locker on the ground level (on the way in). There is a complimentary laundry room right across the landing from the entry (just a few steps from your front door).

- Telluride experiences "off-seasons" in the spring and fall. Many services are not available to travelers. Please check activities/restaurants/home amenities, etc. when booking these dates.
- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.
- Due to the geological isolation of Telluride/Mountain Village, guests may experience Wi-Fi outages and substandard internet speeds.

This property can accommodate one vehicle for street parking. Parking is located in the diagonal spaces by the footbridge or around the surrounding streets.
Please note - the dirt parking lot is a private lot. Manitou guests are not able to park here.
If utilizing the street parking permit, please ensure you have registered your vehicle with our Guest Services team to avoid ticketing/towing. Please read and follow all posted parking signs; AvantStay is not responsible for ticketing/towing.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Almost perfect…
The location was great for walking everywhere in Telluride. Clean, cute and cozy. The only drawbacks were that parking wasn’t available as near as shown in the initial information and you may end up walking a block or more to your car. The other drawback was a loud baseboard heater in the master that makes loud popping and cracking sounds through the night. Everything else was amazing.

The place is a great newly remodeled condo. Location was fantastic as it was close to the Loren lift, gondola, shopping, and restaurants. A bit challenging getting luggage and supplies to the place but that was minor compared to all the positives

Amazing property right by the gondola, had all we needed!
Very impressed by AvantStays property. It had all we needed- basically ski in ski out access (just had to walk over a bridge to pop in our skis), right downtown near restaurants and the market (3-5 blocks max), a ski locker, clean rooms and kitchen, a fire place, and a cozy breakfast nook where we loved dining together as a group of friends! The laundry room was right down the stairs as well if we need to dry any ski clothes. I hope to come back next year for another fun girls trip! Telluride is breathtaking!

Beautiful Telluride was worth sleepless nights!
Cute & cozy condo, beautiful & convenient location. Only one person at a time fits in kitchen. Simple meals or eating out is best! All mattresses were beyond firm so our nights were less than comfortable but still Telluride one our hearts and we’ll be back! Bring foam pads and you’ll be fine!

Serene location once there, but very unrefined
This rental is actually 2 units in one, which makes it very spacious, and is on the third story of the Manitou Riverhouse. From where you have to park, it takes about 4 minutes and dozens of steps to walk to. The unit is quite relaxing once there, but being so close to the gondola combined with the paper thin walls and floors - since the gondola runs till midnight the sound does too. Kitchen is teenie tiny with very few amenities (please stock a blender and more coffee filters). Toilet paper was like sand paper (not the owner's fault). Baseboard heater is either on or off, even though there is a thermostat - it really acts as on or off and when it's on, it gets pretty darn warm. Mold on much of the ceiling of one of the bathrooms. We visited in mid-October so I could imaging how nice it would be to be able to ski to the base of the condo unit - its proximity to the mountain and river create a unique experience that's difficult to find elsewhere in Telluride... so somewhat bittersweet when you leave.
