Welcome to Ghostriders 5, an AvantStay home!

This conveniently located two-bedroom condo in the Ghostriders complex is on the River Trail just steps from Main Street, Town Park, hiking, biking, skiing, and more.

To enter this home, guests will climb two flights of stairs before entering via an exterior door. Inside, guests are welcomed into a large great room with a living room, kitchen, and dining room. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper, gas fireplace, flatscreen TV, DVD player, and access to a balcony overlooking the San Miguel River. The balcony has a small propane grill and great views of the surrounding peaks and the river.

The adjacent dining room has seating for four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The kitchen has updated granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, microwave, blender, and all of the utensils needed to complete any full meal.

The Primary Bedroom has a queen bed, TV, DVD player, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination and single vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a flatscreen TV. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and has a single vanity and a shower/tub combination.

This complex has a prime location on the San Miguel River with easy access to the gondola, ski lifts, hiking, biking, shopping, dining and more. Town Park is just a short walk to the east and the Bear Creek Falls trailhead is down the block. Walk to everything Telluride has to offer!

- Ghostriders offers a common outdoor hot tub for guests' use and a common laundry room. This home also has a private ski locker.
- There is no A/C at this property.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

- Please note; As a ski town, many construction projects happen around town all summer. Working hours are 8 am-7 pm.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Amazing location and just could use some updates
Great location and beautiful being right along the creek and creek path. It had almost everything we needed and most things worked well. There were just a few things we’d suggest updating. The furniture is meant for a mansion. This space needs efficient furniture and the wooden blocky furniture took up far too much space. The light switches were a nightmare. It was so difficult figuring out what turned on what and my outlet kept getting turned off accidentally so none of my stuff would charge. The mattress topper in one room is fine but the other mattress sagged in the middle and wasn’t comfortable. It was quite warm from room upstairs as description mentions. I was annoyed that we booked when dogs were allowed but they changed it after we booked and said we couldn’t bring dogs. We should have been grandfathered in. It was also silly to provide full bean coffee when there was no coffee grinder. For the price it was great but could’ve been better.

Beautiful Location and Property
The property was very nice. The bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The Porch looked over a beautiful river and beaver pond. We loved the hats and cozies (nice touch). Check-in and check-out process were easy. Heat was provided in every room so you could dial in the heat for each room. Minor things to be aware of, the parking lot was very tight but to be expected in the area. Don't plan on bringing a big vehicle and be good at parking in very tight spaces. We arrived very late at night and it was super dark and hard to find the door to get into the unit. You will see 5b first then you need to keep going towards the hot tub to find the actual door. This unit does not have the room with the double beds. It just has two bedrooms and bathrooms next to each other. This was perfect for our use.

Bedrooms were small, bathrooms were low end not modernized, mattresses on beds were inexpensive and super soft, walls are not sound proof and one can hear noise above, below and outside, people in building play loud music until late hours. Tv in master bedroom did not work properly.

Great place for 2 adults or 2 adults w toddlers. (4 adults might be tight) Location is perfect summer or winter…3 blocks to main st. w shops/restaurants or 2 blocks to gondola. 75’ to Smugglers Union, prolly the most under-rated, overlooked restaurant in Telluride. Great food, variety and great beers. Grocery, bakery and liquor store all within 3 blocks. The details of the unit say it can be warm (it’s not hot) because it’s located over the boiler/utility room. This is true, but not a problem w windows that roll out. Cute little deck that is right on the river, very nice for 2 adults & drinks. I will stay here again for sure.

Very Disappointed
The location is great. The condo furnishings and fixtures are dated. The TV and cable were hard to operate. We never did figure out how to operate the cable/Roku in the living room. The heating was difficult to operate - we ended up cracking the windows to moderate the heat. Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the property. We discovered that there were dirty dishes in the cabinet - not one or two, virtually all of them had dried food and liquid on them. There was trash on the floor and the dining room table was dirty. The door of the dishwasher was dirty. We contacted the manager who sent a cleaning crew the same day. However, they merely put the dishes away from the dishwasher without noticing that the a few of the dishes were still not clean.

Good location but place needs urgent care
Great location is by far the highest value. The not so high: - Condo was not 100% clean. We found rests of Chinese fried wontons on the coffee table. Also saw hairs on the bed sheets. - I am a VRBO host myself and we make sure we have enough pillows that are fresh and comfortable for our guests. This place has a few very small and probably 30 year old pillows. - Kitchen is not fully supplied. No blender, no can opener!! My son takes protein shakes and we couldn’t make them. How such a premium price and super location misses the basics?? - There is no A/C, which is fine, but having some fans available would have made a big difference during warm days. - We had a full day without internet and cable. And when it worked, the wifi was unstable. During these days of work from home and stable WiFi is necessary. - Too much furniture in the living room. Place is crammed with old and dated furniture. - There is no on-site washer and dryer. The complex has a common laundry room. Great location, wonderful neighbors. The owners have to step it up and update and refresh this beautiful condo. I would not repeat it unless I see some reviews of future guests stating the improvements.
