"This was a five star hotel but it did have quite a few issues. The outdoor pool was not open till June. There was an indoor pool but we were not told that this was available. Much of the hotel information is your phone but we had conection problems . The restaurant had no stand by paper menus. The waiter let us look at his phone so we quickly chose something. The staff were a little aloof generally especially in the panorama restaurant. The reception staff were functional but not warm...

"Rooms were not cleaned. The floor was quite dirty. Hair was all over the blanket and pillow. The bed is small and quite uncomfortable. Once you enter the room there is a very unpleasant dust and smoke smell. There is a “no smoking” sign in the room, but the room smells smoke and the couch has smoke/burn holes. "

"The outside pictures of the hotel is not like reality. There is no free parking and cannot park car at all. The reception guy talks only Turkish and we cannot understand each other. After check in they want to pay for 2 nights before see the room and after that we pay only for 1 night because we are there at 20 o'clock and there is no other options for that night. "I have stayed in Rodosto several times over the years. The hotel is of the original type of Turkish hotels. The welcome is always friendly and the rooms large and airy. Damla at reception is very helpful. Nice breakfast. The only downside is that there is no elevator access to most rooms, only a narrow winding staircase. However, it kept me fit going up and down it."
