Between Mozart and King Ludwig

This very large holiday apartment is located between the Mozart city of Salzburg and King Ludwig II Castle on Herreninsel in Chiemsee, right on the edge of the forest in the quiet, original Achthal, municipality of Teisendorf, Berchtesgadener Land.

The apartment with its own entrance comprises the entire upper floor and attic of a two-family house and has a total living area of approx. 200 sqm. It consists of a large living-dining room (approx. 60 sqm) with a tiled stove, kitchen, bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom. In the attic there are 2 further bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, designed as apartments. The two floors are connected by a generous staircase in a representative open hallway.

A large balcony covers the entire south side of the apartment and is supplemented by a large south-facing covered terrace, as well as a smaller east balcony in one of the two apartment rooms in the attic.

The garden on the south side in front of the house can also be used.

The apartment in the idyllic village of Achthal (approx. 100 inhabitants) in the municipality of Teisendorf in Berchtesgadener Land is in a very quiet location within a plot of over 3,000 square meters right on the edge of the forest and can only be reached via a private road.

Furnishing:
The entire apartment is fully furnished and can be occupied by up to 8 people.
Almost all rooms are designed with high-quality oak parquet, except for the bedroom on the upper floor, where there is carpeting. A fitted kitchen is also available as well as a large tiled stove as additional heating and provides pleasant, cozy warmth.

Great large getaway close to Teisendorf
A very large and neat upper 2 floors in this house ~10min from Teisendorf. A challenge to find initially and definitely need a car if staying here. Had everything we needed during our stay.

Beautiful house in Bavaria
The house is very good build and comfortably can fit 6 people. Marion is a very lovely lady and came to help us get situated in the house and although didn’t speak English, we managed with Google translate. Everything is clean and good quality. One of the rooms even have a baby crib. The place has laundry and equipped for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend anyone who is interested in staying in one place and exploring Bavaria and Austria. One thing to consider: Google maps makes you turn on the previous street, but WASE brings you straight to the house just fine.

For a group of six older folks we had a grand time there. House very large and had everything we could ask for. The walk in closet was larger than some hotel rooms I have seen. Outside sitting area with large table. Spacious great room with plenty of sitting areas. The architecture was also very appealing. The only item of consern was the directions were a little confusing. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect location for exploring Bavaria
Great property for a family - lots of space and very well maintained and equipped. Easy access to Salzburg, lakes to swim in, mountains to climb, bikes to rent and when you want a relaxing day the local pool is perfect. What a wonderful location and great rental property!
This house was fantastic!! It was very spacious and in a cool neighborhood. The little nearby grocery store was a little overwhelming and not a lot of English spoken there but we did our best! Also had a very charming bakery nearby. All the townspeople were very nice. Rental has a washer but no dryer. Used the clothes rack and they eventually dried. Very nice furniture and having three bathrooms was fantastic. Lots of snails around which we enjoyed as we don't have them here in Minnesota. We all loved it!

Very pleasant
This pleasant rental was perfect for our reunion with our German exchange student and her friend. It was somewhat remote (you'll want to have a car) in a picturesque area of Germany and yet it was close enough to get on the Autobahn for day trips to Salzburg Austria, Berchtesgaden Ger and the Salt Estates (Salzkammergut) lake area of Austria. Our hostess, Lisa was very pleasant and thorough in explaining things. Our neighbors in the lowest level were never even noticed. This is a SPACIOUS rental with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. There are 3 dining areas if you count the open covered porch seating. There is additional spacious seating in the living room. We found the washer and drying rack particularly useful. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Amazing Home; Quaint Village
We had three generations of our family share this home. We all had an amazing time with plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, and beautiful location. The home is centrally located so easy to day trip from. The town is very quaint and quiet. If you and your family are "off the beaten path" sort of people this is the place to be. Absolutely no issues.

Beautiful home in a wonderful place
This home was perfect for 3 couples to share during out European trip and it was a highlight to stay in a small community rather than always being in the big cities. The home had lots of space for us to share and ample privacy as well. Alex, the neighbor who greeted us and showed us how everything worked was delightful. Spacious, quiet, clean, close to Salzburg
The owner and property manager were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The home is 30 min from downtown Salzburg. Easy to find. Quiet area. Home perfectly neat and tidy. Excellent WiFi and cable TV to watch the World Cup! There r often delays as u re-enter Germany from Austria so just be prepared for that if u go back and forth frequently (or use backroads). Loved our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is immaculate, spacious and has a wonderful mountain view. Well situated too. We took trips to Salzburg and Berchtesgaden and both areas were easily accessible for day excursions. Our only desire would have been to have access to washer/dryer.

Viel Platz für die ganze Familie in angenehmen Ambiente
Es ist ein sehr schöne und große Ferienwohnung. Die Ausstattung enthält alles, was für einen längeren Aufenthalt notwendig ist. Sie liegt nahe der A8, aber dennoch ruhig und im nächsten Ort gibt einen EDEKA. Die Betreuung vor Ort war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
