When the kids are in bed in the quaint and quirky bunk room, you can retire to your own comfortable double room, where both of you can sleep soundly ready for your adventures to come.
This cottage is conveniently placed offering many activities for you to enjoy during your stay. With the delightful Shaldon village on your doorstep, there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants for you to try out. If you fancy venturing further, why not jump aboard Britain’s oldest passenger ferry to Teignmouth, which weather permitting, operates 364 days a year. Further along the coast from Teignmouth is the traditional seaside town of Dawlish, perfect for families, with its golden beaches and rock pools, all within a short walk from the town centre.

There isn't any private parking available however there are public car parks within 11 minutes walk:
1. Long Stay Public Carpark ½ mile from the cottage, reached through the village or off the A379 coast road to Torquay, postcode TQ14 0DP – 381 spaces, “pay & display” during the day but free after 6.00pm. Allow 15 minutes for the walking route.
2. Short Stay Public Carpark, opposite the church, postcode TQ14 0BP – 48 spaces, “pay & display” subject to a short stay 5 hour limit during the day but free after 6.00pm.
3. Extra parking – limited spaces along the streets in Shaldon and outside the cottage on Dagmar Street.
