"When we were trying to decide where to stay in Rishikesh we looked at Ganga Kinare and Aloha on the other side of town. As first timers we didn't know much about the layout of the town and picked Ganga based on the fact we'd have access to the boardwalk along the Ganges. It was great for a stroll for sure! "Good hotel in very central location but away from the busy Main Street. Clean, food was good, staff were excellent. Bit noisy so bring ear plugs, mostly just barking dogs and music they were playing downstairs in the restaurant. Good heating as it was cold in November when we went so we needed it! "

"I booked this sight unseen, from the US. We Rishikesh for a memorable trip - this hotel was well reviewed on several sites. It is set in a spectacular location, with a clear view of the Ganga. Different Room provided but it was much better

"We booked family grand room. However, we were given a room that was completely different from the photos of the room that is in description. While the room could fit 3 adults and was as big, the decor of the room resembled the rooms with earthly decor. This was initially disappointing. The room as per photos were all booked out. The management went above and beyond in service to make up for this change and after 3 nights we were given the room that is shown in photos. Having compared both rooms, we found the original room (earthly decor) was more practical with small kids as this room was completely flat and did not have any stairs. the rooms that are shown in photos has stairs. Also the original room (with earthly decor) had TV facing the bed which kids and us much referred. I would highly advise that whoever gets this earthly decor room as family grand room and while this may not be what you expected, this room may be better for what you need as a family. "

"Wonderful place to stay. The staff is so nice, they are all very welcoming and ready to give a good service without hesitation. I think the hotel picked the staff really well and it is their biggest asset. Rooms are quite big and with air conditioning. The hotel is beautifuly decorated, and has direct access to Ganga river and a beautiful view. Breakfast is healthy and delicious, dinner was also very nice. I have already booked my next stay."
