Boutique accommodation in a 12 private estate

The 11 hectare private country estate has two buildings, one used as the guesthouse and the other used to be a storage facility which became a new dwelling on November 2017 under the name of "The Barn". Given the considerable size of the property, our guests will be able to hike through the ancestral Laurisilva Forest and the farming areas of the property while experiencing the luxury of a private space. You can also sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset and the magnificent view of the Anaga Mountains and the great Teide volcano in the distance. Tegueste and Pedro Alvarez are few kilometers down the road. The beaches and natural pools of Bajamar are only 9km away and the World Heritage city of La Laguna is just 5km from the house. Full comfort in pure nature. Reliable wifi. Satellite TV, toys in case you travel with kids, etc.

The area is great. It is a National Park and it is close to La Laguna (UNESCO World Heritage City) and the door to the magnificent beaches of Taganana (0 tourist there and the hidden secret of Tenerife). Anaga forest is just magnificent. Near cities are La Laguna (5 minutes by car) and Tegueste (very rooted on Tenerife traditions). Cilmate is good and combines the sunny days with fresh nights. The area is very green and lush and that is what it makes it so different being in Tenerife. Tegueste is a nice village with all basic amenities. Very traditional and very good food in the area. It is 5 minutes away by car or public transportation. You will find everything there (pharmacy, grocery shops, etc.).

comfottable cottage in a beautiful location near nature reserve
We loved our stay in the finca el Roque. It is a very comfortable cottge, well equiped. It has a great garden with flowers and woodland, and a beautiful vieuw from the terrace. It is within easy reach of an area of great natural beauty, the Anaga peninsula. Also it is easy to shop nearby.

Amazing stay at finca El Roque
We spent a week at casa Laurisilva. The property is huge and very well maintainded. The setting is gorgeous, perfect to rest. Nebertheless, you can quickly reach many destinations, intersting cities, beaches and hiking routes

Mooi plekje weg van het massatoerisme
Ruime woning voor 4 personen met toegang via een heel smalle lange half verharde oprit. Prachtig uitzicht en dicht bij allerlei wandelroutes. Het dorp is ongeveer 1 km van het huis langs een steile bergweg. Daar is ook een klein winkeltje voor brood en wat andere spullen, maar geen groenten en fruit. Supermarkt is 3 km verderop.De huiseigenaar reageert snel op vragen. De elektra viel uit tijdens ons verblijf, maar werd snel gerepareerd. Wij verbleven hier in januari. Dan heb je beslist warme kleding nodig, want in de bergen is het met name 's avonds en 's nachts koud. Het huis heeft verwarming en is goed warm te krijgen. Jammer dat er geen theedoeken en keukenhanddoeken waren. De rest was prima verzorgd, al moet er her en der wat opgeknapt worden. De eigenaar gaf aan dat in mei te gaan doen als er minder toeristen zijn. Al met al een aanrader, zeker voor wie van natuur en rust houdt. Maar een dagje uit naar de stad kan ook zonder probleem. Zowel Santa Cruz met een leuke markt en Puerto de la Cruz met veel attracties zijn in ongeveer een half uurtje te bereiken.
