"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see...

"The property's location is much more remote than advertised.. We booked it as we were attending a wedding close to Gaiole and the property description says "15 minutes from Gaiole". The 2.5 km forest road took at least 10 min to get to the main road and from there it's a minimum of 20 min to Gaiole ( if you drive Italian style). No taxi or transportation company will go to the property, so forget having a drink somewhere in town. Also, no wifi at the property and the cellular reception is also...

"Travelled to this area many times before. Familiar with properties in the area, many with gravel drives. Add made no mention of the road condition of the driveway. Four adults in a small rental car - took three attempts to get up the initial part of the driveway, each time having to precariously reverse back out. Reached out to host for help and she drove down to meet us. We followed her back up the narrow, pothole-ridden, unlit, almost 1km drive, bottoming out three times. Realizing there was...

"Alles is perfect hier, je gaat niet snel iets vergelijkbaars vinden. Let op: de huisjes verschillen onderling. De een ligt mooier dan de ander, de een heeft een terras, de ander niet. Je kunt de afzonderlijke huisjes niet zien of boeken op de site, ze worden at random toegewezen door de receptie. Contact ze vooraf als je wilt weten wat je precies krijgt. Wij hadden Borgo 10, dat alles is wat je in je vakantie zou wensen."
