"We had a family gathering for our mother's 80th birthday and the property was awesome in terms of location and catering to a large group. The host was lovely, great communication and the property was very clean and very well stocked in terms of items needed to prepare, serve food and seat a large group. There was also plenty of extra blankets. The property also had different spaces people could hang out, a coffee was a very short walk away.together"

"This beautifully appointed cottage, next to Barry the owners home, has everything and more, than you could ever need. The view from the cottage is over rural farm land and out to the Shorebird Coast, Firth of Thames and the Coromandel ranges beyond. The moment I arrived from central Auckland I felt myself start to relax. Barry was very friendly and helpful. "Our group really enjoyed staying at this bach. There was plenty of room for all of us, both in terms of bedrooms, and even just on the couches in the living room, we could really sprawl out and not fight for space. Kitchen was good, pool table and air hockey downstairs, along with a second bathroom. Wifi worked well, and the table had great light for playing board games or doing puzzles."

"What a lovely place! The view was spectacular and having a nice balcony area to enjoy the sunset with some wine and cheese was the perfect end to the day. Checkin was a breeze - the key is left for you in the office with directions to your room - and the layout of our two-story space was perfect for our situation. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. "
