A True Georgian Experience:
Our aim is to make this house feel like your home away from home while offering a true Georgian touch. It’s the ideal spot for expats, those seeking long-term rentals, and visitors wanting to experience life as a local.
When we bought this house, we were committed to preserving its authenticity. The decor reflects a typical Tbilisi home, with many elements that are self-made, recycled, or repurposed.
Inside the Home:
The ground floor welcomes you with a spacious entrance leading to a fully equipped kitchen and a third bedroom that can double as a work studio if needed.
The quirky kitchen comfortably seats six, perfect for dining and socialising while cooking. The upstairs entrance is via traditional outdoor stairs, sheltered to keep you dry in the rain.
On the second floor, you’ll find a welcoming Georgian front room (called a "Shushabandi") large enough for a dining table and chairs – perfect for meals, socialising, or use as an office space. There's also a tea and coffee station upstairs for added convenience.
With 3-meter-high ceilings, the upstairs rooms feel light and spacious. The original windows and doors have been preserved to maintain the authentic Old Tbilisi charm.
The bathroom features a vintage iron bathtub, a classic sink, and a large window, offering both privacy and natural light.
The Bedrooms:
* The first bedroom includes a double bed, a single bed, a wardrobe, a sofa, and plenty of storage. We've transformed what was once a dark, windowless space into a cosy, airy room with a lovely view.
* The second bedroom is bright and airy, with breathtaking city views and traditional Tbilisi colors. If the second bedroom is not required for your stay it doubles as a seating room. Includes 2 single beds, chairs, 2x sofa chairs and a desk for work or relaxation.
The Garden/Yard (Ezo):
The private yard is large enough to park two cars, with secure, locked gates. The yard provides both sun and shade, with a stunning view of the city. It’s perfect for kids, yoga, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee or Georgian wine.
The long balcony upstairs is ideal for unwinding at any time of day.
Family-Friendly Amenities:
We offer a baby cot, baby bath, children’s chairs, books, and toys upon request. Just let us know in advance if you need them.
