This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.

Nice place for a family holiday. The kids enjoyed playing in the garden and in the TV room. Reasonable close to Oban for the tourist experience. We especially liked Taynault for Robins Nest cafe and the chance to attend a local ceilidh

House has mostly all you need for a big group of people. The host was very helpful throughout and the check in process was simple. Setting is lovely also.

Had a great stay with friends, accommodation was exactly what we needed as a group of 10 adults and 2 dogs. Just a short walk to the train station made it very convenient. Property manager was great, very helpful. Would recommend and would stay again

Chose property for location. Easy access to Oban by train. Property needs a bit of upgrading but would still book again. Great hot tub problem when first arrived but rectified very quickly.

30th Bash
The size of the property was ideal for all of us. The property was tidy and clean and although it was a birthday it was intended to be a calm weekend with hikes, games and some drinks. The hot tub is brilliant, very large and the location was close enoigh to Oban that it took 15mins to drjve in. Would stay again.

House was absolutely amazing, photos do not do it justice much larger than photos provided, amazing hot tub and about 5-6 minute walk from taynuilt station that takes you to Oban

Very roomy house with a lovely garden and view and ample parking. We had a lovely stay. Some parts of the house could do with a bit of maintenance and updating but this did not affect the stay. Would love to come back.

We had a lovely stay at Taynuilt. Our family ranged from 4y to 64 years and we all loved our time here. Plenty of rooms to spread out, comfy, cosy beds, welcome pack, well equipped kitchen, good outdoor space for kids and dogs to run about. Always plenty of hot water for showers and baths. All guests and dogs were very impressed with the house and we had a brilliant time, even the sun came out for us. The hot tub was enjoyed by us all and I would definitely recommend any large family get together booking this property. The one thing we would suggest is some USB ports for charging phones etc

Great location and propertu
This was a fantastic rental. Gillian was a very responsive host was was easy to reach when we needed to. The property was better than advertised. It worked out very well with our highland sightseeing. The village center was just a quick walk away and the tearoom, grocery, and free book closet were well used by our group. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would book again if we vacation here again

Mum 50th weekend
we stayed here to celebrate my mums 50th birthday, 14 woman. House is absolutely beautiful the village is gorgeous and peaceful. Would 100% recommend for anyone doesn’t need to be a group of adult it’s acceptable for all age groups. The hot tube was cleaned daily and the wee welcome basket was appreciated.

Here for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! 10 of us from aged 13 to 87, everyone had a room that suited. Everything we needed in house, got a Tesco delivery so didn’t have to worry about food. Gillian the owner so helpful. Would absolutely recommend, beautiful house with fab views. Loved it!!!

New Year celebrations for adults and kids
A lovely house with a great conservatory for entertaining. With a straight road just a 15 minute drive from Oban, the location is great for exploring too. Clean, very well equipped and plenty space to ensure the kids got an early night without being disturbed by noisy adults on NYE. Fantastic communication with Gillian and very much recommend!

Excellent base for watersports, hillwalking and cycling
The house provided an ideally located base for all our outdoor adventures in Loch Etive, Loch Awe, Glen Coe and the network of quieter roads which can be accessed from Taynuilt. There are some maintenance issues with the property which is why the overall rating is 3 stars. I have made the property owner aware of these issues. For those with younger children also be aware that there is no physical barrier between the property and the main A85. Nor is there a barrier between the garden and the adjacent building site for the Taynuilt Inn.
