Fantastic break
We had a wonderful time staying in this idyllic part of the world. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and went on beautiful walks to waterfalls and lochs every day. We got out on Loch Awe on the paddleboards on both days and enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the hot tub after. Beautifully remote location but would definitely recommend stocking up before you go. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday when the cafe/shop and bar are both shut. Paid a visit to 'Black Rock' (a drive down the road) and managed to get great food there! We were apprehensive about the single track road but it is so much nicer than any of the roads we have driven on lately and has loads of passing places so there is no need to worry at all! A great holiday that we all have fantastic memories of!

Fantastic
Absolutely amazing place. We had the lodge for a week over Christmas and had a great week. The lodge is very homely and has all you need for a escape from normality and was clean throughout. Hot tub was fantastic and didn’t take much to keep warm once it was first lit. Surroundings were lovely and peaceful and the owners could not of been any more helpful. Could not recommend enough and look forward to returning.

Adorable lodge in a beautiful location
We stayed for a week, and it was one of the best holidays i've had. The lodge was clean and tidy on arrival, and was the perfect place for my three friends and me to spend our week. The setting was wonderful, and we were able to take our canoes out on the loch numerous times, with the weather permitting, which was only a 2 minute walk from the lodge. We did not use the hot tub, as it required a fire to heat, and would take a majority of the day, and we wanted to travel, but I would not say this took away from the holiday at all. We took many trips around, so I would say that a car is necessary but we did see a bus in the village! Would definitely recommend to any one looking for a retreat!

Great short break
The cabin was lovely, the perfect size for 5 adults, but could comfortable take 7 people. Surrounding area was lovely for walking, Hot tub did take more effort than we would have liked to keep hot, but once it was done it was good. Very peaceful and relaxing area, with beautiful views. Visited the local social club, and played pool and had a few drinks while listening to live music, locals very friendly. Would consider going back in the future. The drive to the cabin was ok, it is a single track road, but has plenty passing places. Does take longer as you really cant go above 30mph. Jane was great at bringing us extra packs of logs for the Hot tub and internal fire, and giving us tips on how to keep the hot tub going.
