"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"The reviews on this hotel were negative and it was not warranted. I have stayed in many manhattan NYC hotels for higher prices that were half as good. Yes, there was a tiny amount of peeling enamel in the tub. Yes, housekeeping did not check the mini- fridge freezer and did not clean out stuff from last guest. "A perfect solution as a "home-base" gathering point for all the extended family coming in for my daughter's wedding between Christmas and New Year's. Most of us were able to stay in this wonderful VRBO with the wonderful gathering spaces and kitchen and dining rooms providing plenty of room for the others staying elsewhere as well. Met or exceeded all expecations!"
