Located in the charming village of pedestrian holiday Quinta Velha has a large swimming pool, sunbathing area, snack bar and 2 restaurants. The interior of the house is spacious with large bedrooms, a well-equipped open kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, fridge / freezer), a lounge (TV with satellite, WI-FI, reader DVD, HI FI channel) and 2 bathrooms. We had.a lovely stay in property. We stayed at 4 other properties in Portugal and this was by far the most equipped. Thank you. Lots of spots to capture the sun from the property and short walk to town. Overall really lovely trip. You need to make sure you cover everything as lots of ants in kitchen. I'm a bit OCD and the cleaners/last people forgot to clean microbe which was frustrating so we didn't use it. Also some stains on bed sheet they were obviously clean but frustrating to see all the time. Communucation with owner and host fantastic. Lovely accommodation and area.

A lovely property
The property is more spacious than the pictures might suggest. It's extremely well equipped and the location couldn't be better - just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, bus stop, beach ferry and the railway station. Would certainly recommend.

Fabulous stay!
Property was just as described, fantastic location with swimming pool very close (Pedro, the pool caretaker was very helpful). Especially loved “The Hippo” bar, great drinks and food- the owner even took care of my parking ticket! “The Jolly Sailor” was our favorite, lovely fresh food and waitress Claudia was a star! The only bad thing was that we had to leave 😢

Lovely house, great location!
We were a party of 2 couples and the house was a perfect size. The kitchen was clean & had everything we needed, plenty of glasses/crockery etc. The roof top seating had great views over the pool & towards the sea and the garden area was perfect for bbq's in the evening. The pool was gorgeous, very clean & plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar does nice bar snacks (toasties) and the sangria is the best! We used both local restaurants O'Monte & Jolly Sailor and would recommend them both. It's an easy 10-15 min walk down to the front & boardwalk and the 1.50 euro fare on the ferry boats over to the beach are well worth it. We really enjoyed our week & wouldn't hesitate to retrun & rent this house again.

Really lovely holiday property
We loved staying here, the house was clean, modern and unbelievably well equipped with lots of games for the children, even a pencil case!! It was a fantastic location and we could not have asked for more. The property was perfect for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed every moment.

Nice property. Nice to have three sitting out areas. Comfortable beds but bedding for double bed too small. Disappointed that British TV wasn't available as we were there for 8 weeks and some evening entertainment would have been welcome. (We are in our 80s) The DVD wasn't working.

Spacious holiday home
We had a very good stay at this property after many holidays in Cabanas. It is very spacious with 4 outdoor areas for all times of day. The local bar was close but we did not hear too much noise. The WIFI was fine, the kitchen had most of the things we needed to make our meals and the beds were also very comfortable. Bruno was also very helpful!

The accommodation was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed. We loved the roof terrace and the outdoor garden. Great facilities and well equiped, comfortable, great location, Spiral staircase not ideal for older people and a pity that the satalite television does not have anything in English. On the plus side the extending sun blind made the garden usable all day .

Long awaited return to Cabanas.
We had a great week's stay in Nelson's house in Cabanas. The house is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Outdoor space is great with the roof terrace offering wonderful views as well as a being a great sun trap. It was wonderful to return to Cabanas to enjoy the sunshine, great food, wine, and friendly hospitality on offer.

You couldn't ask for more, excellent pool, so clean, just metres from the back gate, a friendly bar opposite pool and a fabulous restaurant 100metres from the bar. Town has many cafés and restaurants and a short water taxi followed by a short walk and your on a huge sandy beach with the Atlantic waves.

The property was easy to locate and we'll equipped it was perfect for the pool and within easy walking distance of cabanas village Bruno was there to meet us on time when we arrived thank you for the wine he also sorted out a small problem with the hot water heating promptly we would certainly return in the future

Lovely property
Great location on a site with a very large communal pool. The house was lovely and we were not short of anything. We mainly dined out, but used the barbeque in the garden twice. The house is situated within walking distance of a couple of local supermarkets, some great restaurants and of course the stunning Cabanas beach. There was a really nice atmosphere in Cabanas in the evening. We had our grandchildren with us and they had a fantastic time. I would thoroughly recommend and may even return.

A property that ticks all the boxes for a relaxed and peaceful Algarve experience
A holiday experience is made up of several aspects of which most important is accommodation, the destination and transport. This property contributes to a great holiday experience in a great location. It is also well-equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances to make your stay a comfortable one. We have used the barbeque / outside grill on a daily basis and did our own cooking every day. I would recommend a car to explore the area although the property is a 5 min walk to the main town centre for those who just want to enjoy the sun. The service by the owner and the local representative was very good and I will definitely be back for a second visit hopefully in the very near future.

Beautiful house with 3 lovely suntraps. Plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. Beds comfy and aircon a bonus. Only disappointing part was the cleaning of shower room and under beds could have been to a better standard. Didn't really want to clean the shower before we used it! It was good to have a washer as only one set of towels a week so needed to wash them.Thanks for the wine and port.

Thank you Nelson we had a fabulous week in your Cabanas home. We spent a lot of time in your pretty garden. We watched the sunrise & sunset from your rooftop terrace. The sail shade above the table in the garden was perfect. Quinta Velha is a privately owned villa area with two fabulous restaurants and a quiet friendly pool bar. The pool area is so clean with padded sun beds. A short walk to the left is the supermarket, butcher, baker & fresh fish shop at Cabanas village. Passing the bus stop to Tavira town. Cabanas village has rustic restaurants serving fabulous fish, a beautiful beach & board walk plus the odd shop or tiled fronted house. A short walk to the right is Conceicao train station. Its a bit like the wild west! Print off the timetable before you leave UK. We visited Monte Gordo for shopping & delicious coffee. Nelsons house is refitted & modern ( Ikea I think) with everything you need for a comfortable stay in the best home from home complex in Cabanas. My Partner has visited Cabanas eight times. This was my first of many " I hope" ? A big thank you to Bruno for letting us in early due to our early flight. Really appreciated & I hope to meet up with you next time xx

Really nice property in lovely area
Cabanas de Tavira is a lovely village, although I gather it is rammed in the summer. The weather was superb, blue sky every day and the temperature in the high 60's. The house is very nice. There were four of us and suited us fine. Four is about the right number. The property is fairly new with tow good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a dining /living area. Amazingly we ate outside in February, on three occasions and used the barbecue! We were welcomed on arrival with a bottle of wine - a nice touch. Nearby is the pool which we did not use but we did use the nearby bar, a bottle of wine, a beer and a coke for just over 6 euros. Very pleasant way to spend an hour in the afternoon. Two restaurants nearby, one owned by the guy who has the bar. Fantastic food of very high quality. Not cheap but the quality was superb. We visited Tavira, Loule, Seville and the highlight was the local nature reserve. If you go here you will have a great time!
