"This cottage was an updated, cute New England style cottage. Lovely back deck on the water offered scenic views all day long. Kitchen updated nicely. A smoke alarm went off one night because of battery issues. The washer seal was very mildewy. Trash cans were full upon our arrival so we could barely get our trash into them as requested. The towels were a bit smelly and there were not enough hand towels. Overall we were very pleased! The owners just need to work out a few maintenance or property...

"It was a sad trip as we were dropping our daughter off for college. So it was a blessing to have this central location to be easy to check into to, keep clean, and feel safe. We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. I would rent this again. "

"What an amazing little place this was! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem. Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. "The cottage was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to main routes. The interior decor was tasteful and the hospitality of the hostess was wonderful! She left us snacks, coffee, and flowers. The cottage was a little snug in the master bedroom but the King size bed was very comfortable.
