Our room was paid and warranty however when arrived the hotel had no room for us. We are foreigners and traveled very far to this town for the annual balloon festival. The hotel receptionist told us there are no room in the town now. This business practice is unethical. The hotel sold my room for very high price due to greed. We were stranded . We have no choice but travel to next available far away town.
I booked this property, and weeks later (once all the other places in the town were booked up) they messaged me to cancel my reservation so that they could raise the price for someone else. I was offended and ended up unable to go on my holiday. Very, very poor service. Don't go here.
One of the worst hotel experience we had in Myanmar. This hotel is not catered at all for foreign tourists.
The hotel seems to be managed by a group of teenagers that speak no english and seem untrained/unable to answer any type of special request normally provided by hotels like booking a bus ticket, offering laundry service or even... providing breakfast.
Indeed, although it was clearly stated in our booking that we had breakfast included...in the morning, nothing was ready and the staff seemed unaware we had breakfast included. They had to call another hotel of the same chain to ask for instructions and spent 30min on the phone giggling and not informing us of what was going on. We ended up having to wait 1h before being served some takeouts. On the next day, they came knocking at our door at 8am while we were still sleeping because it was time for breakfast ( takeouts again).
The hotel has thin walls so you can expect to hear your neighbours talking, music being played and people coming back to their room late in the night. To add to the noise situation, the staff walks around and clean rooms with music on their phones but are also singing, yelling at each others from one side to the other side of the hotel or laughing.
Although the bed are neatly made, we also found hairs in the bathroom and a lot of dust in the common areas.
