"This was our third time staying at one of Jethro’s properties, and the first time staying at Trade Winds. On previous visits, we stayed next door at Sea Shanty. This time, we had another couple join us, so we reserved Trade Winds, and it did not disappoint!There are so many hangout options – whether you want shade or sun. The decks were great, and the pool was wonderful!Jethro is a fantastic host. Great communication, and very responsive to any requests.The location of the house is perfect for exploring the island – and the beach across the street is gorgeous. Perfect for a sunrise, or a walk to Tippy’s. As with Sea Shanty, the beach access is across the street, down a short, tree lined path (maybe 3–4-minute walk). We prepared most of our dinners at the house, which was well equipped. Overall, a terrific experience. We can’t wait to go back!"

"La Bougainvillea was an excellent choice for my fiance and me to enjoy my birthday. It is centrally located on the island, which worked great for us because we have family in the South and spent time there as well as in the North. The grounds are secluded and private. We drove up a hill to reach the property. We were surprised to see an EV charging station on-site; immediate kudos for that, as we believe electric vehicles on the island are the future. Anyway, the lobby area is quaint and quiet. We were greeted by Q, who is a wonderful lady. She is the general manager, and she made us feel welcome immediately. She is very warm and personable. The infinity pool is beautiful, the bar and restaurant are beachfront, and the service was great. We stayed in an ocean-view room, which was very romantic. It is a room where couples can connect. The shower is in the room but in a very aesthetically pleasing position. There's no TV in this room, but watching your partner shower can be entertaining and interactive enough. :) My favorite experience by far was the beach. The sand was soft and untouched, the water was so blue and beautiful, and we had the beach to ourselves for hours. If you want to feel like you're on a secluded island for real, then this is the place for you. The peace and serenity was unmatched. The food was delicious, too. It was a tad expensive, like $34 for a burger, BUT it was tasty and fresh. Book your stay with La Bougainvillea; you will love it! "

"A simple review before diving into specifics – just book it! This property is fantastic!Terri has thought of everything at Poinciana House. My wife and I packed extra necessities for a trip on Eleuthera, but Terri had us covered — plus some! From beach towels, to snorkel gear, to bug spray, a first aid kit, the golf cart, guide books, a full cabinet of spices/seasonings, and more! We loved the ability to so easily get in the golf cart and hop from the pool at the house to the beach (take a short beach walk south to Pascal’s and say hi to Sammy the bartender), to the Wykee pool, to the water (with boat ramp) on the bight side.Last but not least, take your time exploring all that Governors Harbour has to offer. Driving 8 minutes south on Queens Hwy will put you in the center of town where you can find the best bakeries, fishermen selling their catch off the dock, a fish fry every Friday night, great restaurants, groceries, and tons of shops selling local goods/art. Overall, it was an incredible stay. If you’re on the fence about booking Poinciana, don’t be, just book it!!"

"Enjoyed our stay at Sea Shanty. The cottage was comfortable, the property was nice and the pool was a bonus. The rooftop deck was a great place to relax with morning coffee, evening beverage and star gazing. The path to the beautiful beach across the road was great."
