Villa with beautiful pool, private garden and ocean views.
This lovely villa set in a gorgeous private garden has a beautiful pool, overlooks the ocean and is located in an upscale area. It is a short walk to a very nice wide quiet beach. There are quite a few steps down to the beach but don’t be deterred, we are in our mid sixties and made it to the bottom and back easily.
One thing I would mention is that the layout of the villa is not clear from the website description. A double bedroom (two twins pushed together) and a small single/twin bedroom are located in the main villa. To get to the bathroom you have to walk down a corridor past the doorless archway to the main bedroom, which may be a privacy issue for some. The other double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom are located in an attached but totally separate apartment. This set up is ideal for two couples or two families with young children vacationing together.
I was a little concerned about making the second payment via wire transfer, and not by credit card through the VRBO website. However, there was no need for concern, Zahara Villas, the managing agents are professional, efficient and very helpful.
Sober los Mares is a wonderful place to relax.
