"The couple who own the place are super nice and gave us many hints of what to see and do around the Cape Breton Highlands park. The room was very clean and the view of the water was gorgeous. Plenty of chairs positioned around so that you can sit back and relax and watch the rides rise and fall. The internet router was down so we had a sketchy connection in our room which was at the very end, but near the office the signal was pretty strong. "The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind.
