"Booking and communication good. House nice and as advertised. Good location and easy to find and close to local amenities. Ok for a couple of nights. These are my constructive observations/recommendations: 1. Please supply bath mats in the bathrooms. There was nothing and the floors were soaked after a shower as the shower screen leaked. Also for Health and Safety. 2. Towels are very thin and small. You may need to supplement with your own if you're visiting and this kind of thing bothers...

"This small cottage is in a great location, literally a couple of minutes walk into the centre of town, but tucked away in a quiet cobbled side street. Although there is no parking at the cottage, the Little Rodee carpark is about 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a great quirky charm which we really liked. "The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"The location of this property is amazing if you are headed to a game at Anfield as it’s a super quick walk to the stadium & very convenient. Around the area there is a lot of food, grocery stores, bars, etc. Quick walk to the bus stop. Layout of the property is interesting, as it’s like an old apartment building that’s been converted into a house. Each bedroom had a heavy door that automatically closed so it felt more like a bunch of separate properties vs one whole place. The beds in each room...

"Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends."

"The host was very helpful and friendly. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. I knew there were stairs but didn't realize they would be as steep as they are, which was only noticed because i recently injured my leg. The entry stoop was unexpectedly high and both of us tripp on it. But everything else was fine and very convenient to bus line, stores and parks. Im glad we stayed there!"

"This is spacious home from home, well equipped and clean. There was excellent communication with the owner who was very helpful. Toys and stairgate were provided for our toddler and the garden was great for outdoor play. We stayed only for 2 nights whilst in the area for a wedding, so cannot really comment on the surrounding area but it seemed very nice from the little we saw. Would not hesitate to recommend"

"2 bed house in quiet street. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. House was clean and basically furnished. Everything worked as it should. Nice bathroom with shower. Driveway if required. Close to town centre (£5 in taxi). Can’t comment as to local amenities or public transport as we never used them. Contact with owner was easy and we had no issues. "

"Wonderful property with all the comforts of home. We arrived to a beautiful basket of goodies and a warm welcome from our host. Julie went out of her way to help us get settled in. We would highly recommend this holiday home if you are planning to visit the Liverpool area. Easy access to the sights of the city and great restaurants nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer! "After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."
