We were at an upscale resort in Tumbes earlier in the trip, and this far exceeded the service, tranquility, cleanliness, scenery by far. "El Mirador had good customer service for the most part. They dont speak much if any english which wasnt a huge deal since I spoke the language but for those who dont, it might be difficult. The only two things were when we got there they tried giving us a room without air conditioning or hot showers, I had to explain that we paid for those services -after that they moved us with no problem. "If you want a quiet and relaxing time, don’t go to this hotel. We stayed there from Saturday to Sunday. An awfully load music started at 9 pm and finished at 4 am. It was so noisy you can hear it like it’s next door, even through the headphones. Impossible to have a good sleep. The hotel doesn’t have WIFI, the rooms don’t have complimentary water and a hairdryer, which you may need after the water activities.
