"very nice vertical house in center of old town. great location near restaurants and coffee shops. very clean. easy access and departure. not a property for people who struggle with stairs. hot water in showers is a little tricky. shower in one of the bathrooms needs a door, and washing machine could use some written instructions. overall, we enjoyed it, and recommend it with the few caveats already mentioned."

It has great views of the valley and is near Sulmona and just an hour from the beaches in Pescara. There is plenty of space and plenty of beds. Having three bathrooms was great. Mark was very helpful and easy to communicate with leading up to the stay and during the stay. If you want to stay in a roomy place to experience a real Italian village this is it. "A friend and I stayed in this 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat for a couple of weeks. It is very clean and has everything needed for light cooking. During the day, the neighborhood is quiet but comes alive in the evenings when everyone is outside for the passegiata. There are a number of bars to enjoy for your morning coffee or aperitivo in the evenings. A local favorite shop just around the corner, Antichi Sapori, has quality prosciutto, salume and cheeses.
