"3 night stay taking in Taputapuatea Marae, Botanic Gardens and an around the island road trip. Good location with lagoon access and a kayak to borrow.Rooms were well appointed and bathrooms were pleasant. Good option for those who want to self cater as a proper kitchen.Property is not particularly private, and whilst there were fans and some windows and doors with mosquito netting there is no air con so it can be hot at night if you are from a cold climate like we were! Price and overall location and comfort wise we were pleased with this property."

"This place is beautiful. The sounds of the birds the beauty of the plants, the view from the bungalow, all excellent. I like being in nature and this was like being in nature while still having comforts of home. The bathroom itself was gorgeous with a skylight, lava rock and plants. The man squiring net around the bed really works well. The owners took us on a boating trip to snorkel and it was divine. All very restful."

"Didn't get directions for two days and when we did, it was in French with numerical coordinates. Place was very hard to find due to lack of street signs.Other than a loose kitchen faucet it was a good place to stay."
